Dehler 30 one design training in Rostock

On April 22nd and 23rd the first training of this year for the Dehler 30 one design fleet took place in Rostock, off Warnemünde. Speedsailing provided a support boat and coordinated the training.

On the first day there were well over 20 kn wind from NW. PowerPlay and Tscheika tested their boats under small sails - the main in the 2nd reef and the stay jib - the strong wind characteristics of the offshore racer. 

On Friday, all four boats were able to adjust the trim in a direct comparison in 19 - 14 knots of wind. With the main in the 1st reef and the jib, we set off on the offshore training course at 7 knots, reefed out at the windward barrel and set the A5 genaker in sync. From then on, the boats flew at 14 knots towards the finish.
